- RGV talks ending with Perni Nani
- Verma said the discussion went on satisfactorily
- Verma talked about ideas on six topics
Before leaving, RGV said, “I did not come to talk to the government on behalf of the industry, I came to talk to a filmmaker.” Verma said he did not come to demand the government, only to sit down and talk. I came to speak on my behalf. There is no need to react to what someone says. Everyone has mouths just like me. “How do I respond to what they say?” These are the words that RGV uttered at the airport before going to a meeting with Perni Nani.
“Why did we have to reduce ticket rates?” Doing so will cause the recovery rate to drop. I have spoken to the minister with my thirty years of experience on some issues that the film quality suffers from because of it. They are of the view that ticket rates will increase due to the cost of the film. I have stated my view points in relation to that. We discussed the angles at which the two sides see the problem. That’s all but .. I did not demand anything. I spoke as a filmmaker. They also said a few points. It is up to the film industry and the government to think about it and find a solution.
How much is GST going up? I do not have the details. I did not come to talk about that. In the quality of the movie, the making of the movie .. it did not come to discuss that it is not correct for someone else to decide the ticket rates. I also had to talk to the government about the six things I said about subsidies. They took note of them.

There may be some political touch to Pawan Kalyangari and Balakrishna. No one makes the decision to target the entire industry to target both. Nanigari is satisfied with the discussions. Takes the opinions of others regarding the industry along with me. Because I am not the only industry.
