Perni Nani: ‘Yadadri left Bhadrachalam for Telangana branding..give it to us’

The project dispute between the Telugu states went to the point where the AP leaders commented that it was ours. He said that if Bhadrachalam sank due to the coffer dam while the Polavaram project was still half way, then why did it sink in 1986 and 1990? A flood of 28 lakh cusecs occurred at Bhadrachalam. But since the spillway capacity of the Polavaram project is 50 lakh cusecs.. Perni Nani said that even a drop of water goes down without stopping and meets the sea. He said that water will stop at Polavaram only when the flood flow exceeds 50 lakh cusecs. Nani opined that Telangana leaders like Ajay should take the advice of engineers and talk. ‘Bhadrachalam belongs to old Andhra Pradesh. But with partition it went to Telangana.
