Philippines elect Marcos as president again: Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Junior

The Philippines will almost certainly have a president with a tainted name: Ferdinand Marcos Jr. He is the son of the deposed dictator Ferdinand Marcos in 1986. The 64-year-old Marcos – nicknamed Bongbong – succeeds Rodrigo Duterte, the man who was best known for his tough anti-drug policy.
