New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday flagged off 6 new Vande Bharat trains in Jharkhand. Earlier, PM Modi’s visit to Jamshedpur was cancelled. After this, he inaugurated various schemes online from Ranchi airport itself. This decision has been taken due to heavy rains. Due to this, the road show was also cancelled.
PM Modi said that the central government is committed to the rapid development of Jharkhand. Before leaving for Jharkhand, PM Modi posted on Twitter. He wrote, We are determined for the rapid development of Jharkhand. Today at around 10 am, I will have the privilege of flagging off six ‘Vande Bharat’ trains at Tatanagar as well as laying the foundation stone and inaugurating many more projects.
Apart from this, I will also be a part of the program related to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin. PM Modi has flagged off six Vande Bharat trains in Jharkhand today. Apart from this, he has also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various development projects worth Rs 21,000 crore. Tight security arrangements have been made for the PM’s Jharkhand visit.
PM Modi will stay in Jharkhand for about six hours. More than 3,000 police officers and jawans have been deployed for the security of PM Modi. The Vande Bharat trains flagged off by PM Modi will run between Berhampur-Tata, Rourkela-Howrah, Deoghar-Banaras, Howrah-Gaya and Howrah-Bhagalpur.
