Film producer Ashok Pandit, who is the president of the Indian Film and Television Directors Association (IFTDA), supported Prime Minister Modi’s announcement. He said that Prime Minister Modi’s warning to his party members had ‘reassured the film industry’. A few days ago, several BJP leaders like Ram Kadam and Narottam Mishra criticized Pathan makers for wearing a saffron bikini worn by Deepika Padukone in the song Besharam Rang.
Ashok Pandit, who recently responded to Modi’s warning.. ‘Just for publicity, the prime minister of the country telling his party people not to talk about the film industry, which is not their area, and not to make unnecessary comments, will really give a boost to the industry. This sign applies not only to politicians and media persons but also to our own industry,’ opined Ashok Pandit in a recent interview.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday gave instructions to his party leaders on the do’s and don’ts of the two-day BJP National Working Group. In his message, he warned the party members that ‘don’t make unnecessary comments on movies that have nothing to do with us’.
Meanwhile, many people objected to the Besharam Rang song in the recent movie ‘Pathan’. Petitions have also been filed in many courts against the producers and actors of the film. But recently the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) directed the producers of Pathan’s film to implement the changes suggested by them in the songs and scenes of the film. Directed by Siddharth Anand, this film will release in theaters on January 25.
