Prime Minister Modi said that 18 lakh beds were available in hospitals across the country and 90 thousand beds were prepared for children. He said there was no shortage of medicines in the country and even 4 lakh oxygen cylinders were ready in hospitals. He called on everyone to be vaccinated and Omikran to be expelled from the country if corona rules were followed. The vaccine will be available in the country from January 26. So far, 61 per cent of those eligible have been given two doses. He said India was at the forefront of vaccination compared to many other countries.
Modi said the vaccination process for children under the age of 15-18 would begin from January 3. He said vaccinating children going to school would reassure parents. On the other hand, those above 60 years of age, front line warriors and healthcare workers will be given booster doses from January 10. It has been clarified that a DNA vaccine will also be made available soon.
Modi said vaccines and precautions are the cure for omicran. Many states say 100 percent corona vaccination is complete. Everything is looking forward to the new year …. but it’s time to be vigilant. He said he was proud when news came that vaccination targets had been reached in states like Goa and Himachal. He said people were careless despite being vaccinated and the corona threat had not yet been eliminated.
