Police let petty crime go because of a lack of manpower: things like fraud and animal abuse are ignored

Petty burglaries, scams or animal abuse. From now on, the East Netherlands police will invest little or no energy in these cases. This is evident from an internal policy document that De Gelderlander has at its disposal. There are not enough cops to pick up everything.
