Digital Desk, New Delhi. In Ghaziabad, politics has intensified over the beating of an elderly man sitting in an auto for not saying Jai Shri Ram. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has retaliated after former Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s tweet on this matter.
Yogi Adityanath said, the first lesson of Lord Shri Ram is – “Speak the truth” which you have never done in life. You should be ashamed that even after telling the truth by the police, you are engaged in spreading poison in the society. In the greed of power, humanity is being humiliated. Stop humiliating, defaming the people of Uttar Pradesh.
What did Rahul Gandhi say?
Rahul Gandhi had said, I am not ready to believe that true devotees of Shri Ram can do this. Such cruelty is far from humanity. It is shameful for both society and religion.

What’s the whole matter?
The elderly Sufi Abdul Samad, a resident of Anupshahar Bulandshahr, was going to Behta Hajipur village under Loni Border Police Station on the afternoon of 5 June. An auto driver made him sit in his auto near the Loni border police station. A video related to this incident is going viral. In the video, the elderly are alleging that apart from the driver, three other people were also sitting in the auto. Thereafter he was taken to a secluded place. Religious slogans were raised by placing a pistol on the temple. The beard was cut and beaten.
However, when the police investigated the matter, the allegations of the elders raising religious slogans turned out to be false. According to the police, Sufi Abdul Samad works in making amulets. Some people were given this amulet, but when it did not have any effect, they beat up Bujjar. Three people have been arrested in this case. The names of the arrested accused are Pravesh, Kallu and Asif. Other accused have also been identified by the police.
