New Delhi. Police have filed a report against Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Ziaur Rahman Burke, Sohail Iqbal, son of Sadar MLA Iqbal Mahmood and five other people in the case of inciting violence in Sambhal. Politics has intensified in the Sambhal violence case. After the report, Ziaur Rahman Barke has given his reaction as soon as Parliament goes into the winter session.
SP MP (Ziaur Rahman) said- This is very unfortunate, this is a completely pre-planned incident. Muslims are being targeted across the country and the situation has never been so bad since independence. The way the Places of Worship Act is being violated. Petitions are being filed one after the other and hearings are being held on the same day and orders are also coming.
Along with this, DM and SP went and got the survey done on the same day. We allowed them to conduct the survey in a very peaceful manner. Ziaur Rahman Burke accused the police and said that on the day of Friday prayers, a large number of forces were deployed around the mosque. Also people were stopped from offering Namaz. Despite that we told people that there was no need to take any action.
After the FIR against Ziaur Rahman Burke, SP has come out in his defence. SP MP Ram Gopal Yadav said that ‘Ziaur Rahman Burke was not there at the time of the incident. it’s all lies.’ He demanded, ‘Those who opened fire. For which the District Magistrate and SP are responsible, a case of murder should be registered against them. SP MP Awadhesh Prasad said, “The incident is sad. I demand from the Uttar Pradesh government that such an incident should not happen again.”
