Russian kickboxer Sergei Ponomarev before the upcoming fight with Islam Murtazaev expressed confidence that he and his opponent would show a beautiful fight. He spoke about this on Saturday, February 4, in an interview with Izvestia.
Ponomarev called Murtazaev an excellent fighter.
“Kickboxing top, hits hard with legs, arms. The battle ended in a split second, everything is clear, competent, ”he added.
According to the sportsman, the meeting with Murtazaev is important for him. He noted that this fight motivates him to move forward.
“See you in the ring. I am preparing and I am sure that he is also preparing, so we will show a beautiful fight to the audience, ”Ponomarev said.
The fight between Ponomarev and Murtazaev will take place in Minsk on February 17 as part of the REN TV Fight Club. Super Series.
