The media in Poland, a country with a Catholic tradition, cited two other previous scandals in the same diocese.
In the first case, the director of a local seminary was allegedly caught having sexual relations in a gay club. In the other incident, a 46-year-old priest allegedly killed a deacon 20 years his junior before throwing himself under a train.
