Shooting
Only 30-35 days of shooting are left for Salaar to be completed. Prabhas will be joining the schedule which starts in two days. Prabhas will shoot scenes non-stop till the end of this month. Majority of the shooting is completed with this schedule.
The rest will be completed in the next few weeks. So they are planning to release the movie on September 28 this year as planned.
Casting
Shruti Haasan is playing the heroine opposite Prabhas in this movie. Malayalam star hero Prithviraj Sukumaran is acting as the villain. Jagapathi Babu, Ishwari Rao, Kannada actor Madhu Guruswamy and others are playing key roles. It is known that the shooting of the movie ‘Salar’, which is being made as an action thriller, has started at the Godari Khani Coal Mines in Telangana. While Prabhas’s getup looks very rough in this, Prabhas had previously revealed that he will be shown as violent as never seen before.
Vijay Kirangadur is producing this film under the banner of Hombale Films. Ravi Basrur, who has provided excellent music for both parts of KGF, is also composing the music for this film. The film, which is being made with a budget of around Rs.200 crores, will be released in September 2023 in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam languages.
Prabhas Lineup
If you look at the current line-up of Prabhas’ films, all of them are pan-India projects. The shooting of ‘Adipurush’ has already been completed in Bollywood director Om Raut’s combination. Kriti Sanon is playing the role of Sita in this film based on the epic Ramayana. Currently the VFX work is going on.. It is likely to be released soon. On the other hand, Nag Ashwin is directing ‘Project K’ as a pan-world movie. While some of the shooting schedules have already been completed, the makers recently released Deepika Padukone’s first look from this movie on the occasion of her birthday.
