The organizer decides the dinner menu.
The final decision on what will be served to foreign guests is taken by the host of the event, i.e. the President or the Prime Minister. Before preparing the menu for a foreign guest, the protocol officer finds out from the guest’s office what their dietary habits are, whether they have any medical issues or what they like to eat the most.
After this, keeping in mind Atithi Devo Bhava, such a menu is prepared which the guests like and feel happy after eating.
