New Delhi. Amidst the increasing demand during the festive season, automobile manufacturers have increased the prices of cars and SUVs from October 1, due to which consumers will now have to pay more for them.

The country’s second largest car manufacturer Hyundai has increased the prices of its SUVs Venue and Tucson by up to Rs 48 thousand.
Japanese car manufacturer Honda has marginally increased the price of its popular City and Amaze models by about eight thousand rupees.
Car manufacturers have been claiming that despite cost increases last year, they decided not to pass the burden on to customers.
Apparently, since the demand for these popular models remains steady, some of them even have a waiting list of customers.
Kia India said the company had introduced the introductory prices as an introductory offer and now in the case of its Seltos, the price has been revised after six months.
Car manufacturers keep an eye on each other’s prices because they do not want to lose market share in a highly competitive market. Therefore, it is not unusual for them to follow each other when prices rise.
