Shivani Agarwal’s husband Amit Agarwal said that she started her career as a national referee in 2008 and reached National Referee Class One level before becoming an international referee. She is the first woman from India to be selected as an international referee in Taekwondo for the Asian Para Games. She has so far participated in many world renowned and ranking tournaments like World Championships, Grand Slam, Grand Prix Challenge, Asian Championships, Women’s Championships, WT President Cup and other ranking events. All these programs were organized in countries like United Kingdom, China, South Korea, Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Iran, Bulgaria, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, France, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Chinese Taipei, Vietnam, Australia, Lebanon etc.
