New Delhi: Prime Minister Modi gave the appointment orders to 71,000 people across the country to work in various departments of the central government through video.
More than 9 lakh posts are vacant in various departments of central government. Prime Minister Modi, who examined the matter in June last year, ordered the relevant authorities to take steps to provide employment to 10 lakh people in the next 18 months. Last October, he launched the ‘Rojkar Mela’ (Employment Festival) to provide employment to 10 lakh people across the country. At that time, in the first phase, 75 thousand people were given employment orders. In a program held on November 22, Prime Minister Modi gave appointment orders to 71,000 people.
In this case, in the 3rd phase, Prime Minister Modi gave job orders to 71,000 more people through a video presentation yesterday. Also, Prime Minister Modi interacted with the newly appointed employees.
Training courses on ‘Karmayogi Prarambh’ are conducted on the website for those who have been ordained. The appointed youths happily shared their experiences of participating in the class.
71,000 people from all over the country have been issued appointment orders to work in various posts of Central Government Departments such as Junior Engineers, Train Drivers, Technicians, Inspectors, Assistant Inspectors, Constables, Stenographers, Junior Accountants, Income Tax Inspectors, Teachers, Nurses, Social Security Officers.
When the central government officials said, “Around 9.79 lakh posts are unfilled in the central government departments. Among them, 2.93 lakh posts are in railways, 2.64 lakhs in defense department, 1.43 lakhs in home department, 90,000 in postal department, 80,000 in revenue department, 26,000 in audit department, 7,000 in mining department, 9,400 in nuclear energy department, there are lakhs of vacancies in various departments of the central government.
The central government is taking various measures to create employment in the country. Accordingly, 10 lakh people will be given central government jobs in 18 months. Apart from this, the central government is also taking drastic measures to increase private employment. For this, loan assistance is provided for starting a new business under the ‘Start-up’ scheme. Special training is provided in various programs to improve the vocational skills of the youth. According to the central government officials, more than 1.50 crore youth have been given vocational skill training under the ‘Skill India’ scheme alone.
