California: Controversy has arisen over graffiti written by supporters of Khalistan on the wall of a Hindu temple in the US state of California.
Swaminarayan Temple is located in Newark, California. It contains hate campaigns against Prime Minister Modi and India.
This is not the first time that such a hate campaign has taken place at a Hindu temple in America. Recently, similar pro-Khalistan slogans were written on Hindu temples in Canada.
Background of the controversy: Khalistan terrorists are demanding a separate state for Sikhs in India. Emphasizing this, supporters of Khalistan in America and Canada continue to engage in activities against India. They staged a protest in front of the Indian Embassy in Canada last March. India has been urging the Canadian government to take action against the activities of Khalistan terrorists.
In this case, Hardeep Singh Nizar, the leader of the Khalistan Tiger Brigade and a terrorist, was shot dead in Canada a few months ago. Khalistan supporters in Canada pasted a poster with their photos saying that Indian Ambassador to Canada Sanjay Kumar Verma and Deputy Consul General in Toronto Apoorva Vastava were involved in the murder.
US Accusation: Gurpadwant Singh Bannun, head of Justice for Sikhs, an organization demanding a separate state of Khalistan, holds US and Canadian citizenship. He continues to work against India. Now he has announced that he is going to attack the Indian Parliament. The US Department of Justice has accused an Indian named Nikhil Gupta of being involved in a conspiracy to kill him, who has been declared a terrorist by India, in New York City. It has also been alleged that Nikhil Gupta was involved in this act on the orders of the Indian authorities.
Thus, anti-Khalistan text has been written in the Hindu temple in the context of the strengthening of the Khalistan dispute in Canada and the United States.
