Producer of ‘This is war’ defends the youth format
Since its launch, ‘This is war’ has generated divided opinions among viewers. However, its ability to attract a large number of viewers has been undeniable, establishing itself as a benchmark in national entertainment. The production company has decided not to give in to external pressures and continue with its format, which recently celebrated its twelfth anniversary on the América Televisión screen.
“’This is war’ is always among the three most watched programs on Peruvian television, and that is something that many programs would like to have. If at some point it was thought that the format had come to an end, today we see that it has a while to go because the public continues to prefer it,” said Mariana Ramírez del Villar, content director of PRO TV.
Since its debut, ‘Esto es Guerra’ has managed to capture the attention of millions of viewers, becoming a cultural phenomenon. Its competition and entertainment format has been key to its success, attracting a diverse audience looking for fun and excitement. The production company has been able to adapt to the trends and demands of the public, which has allowed the program to remain relevant in a constantly changing television market.
EEG producer celebrates the program’s rating
The producer of ‘This is war’, Peter Fajardo, expressed his gratitude for the constant support that the viewing public continues to give to the competition reality show. This was reflected last Monday, November 18, when the program reached a notable 15.32 rating, far surpassing its main competitor, ‘The Great Chef: Famous’ from Latina, which obtained 6.86.
“It’s teamwork, and I think that’s what allows us to continue garnering the public’s affection. Twelve years have passed since we took on this challenge. During all this time, we have had successes and failures. Many faces have paraded, whom we love and respect. We hope for many more years,” declared Fajardo.
