It seems that the controversy caused by Maliha Al-Arab Fati Jamali due to her meeting with Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech, a player for the Turkish Galatasaray club, and the way he spoke to her, turned into a means Professors protest against the statute.
Dozens of professors used pictures of Hakim Ziyech and Fati Jamali, accompanied by the phrase “its not nice,” in the demonstration organized by professors in the capital, Rabat, in protest against the statute, taking advantage of the opportunity to express their dissatisfaction with the conditions witnessed by the education sector, as one of the banners said: “No.” Availability of equipment… 21 dirhams per day… 210 students in each regiment.”
The demonstrators, including male and female professors wearing white overalls, raised slogans demanding the abolition of the basic system. They also attacked the Minister of National Education, Chakib Benmoussa, and demanded that he leave.
Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch held a meeting more than a week ago with educational unions to try to solve the problem of protests and repeated strikes in the sector. He promised to hold subsequent meetings in order to work on improving the statute, in line with developing sector reform.
