Maxwell’s attorneys tried to start another trial earlier this year after they said one of the jurors gave misleading answers during the jury selection. He had concealed that he himself was a victim of sexual abuse. The judge rejected the request in March.
Maxwell was in a relationship with Epstein between 1994 and 2004. The multimillionaire committed suicide in 2019 while in prison while awaiting an abuse case against him.
