Islamabad. Supporters of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan are busy expressing their protest across the country. The capital Islamabad has been completely sealed. Now Imran Khan’s party has prepared to increase its protest march. The name of Imran Khan’s party is Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
He appealed to the people to break the shackles of slavery and join the march. However, meanwhile, the Pakistan government is trying to crush the protests. Internet and mobile services have been partially suspended in Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab in view of the PTI protests.
Public transport, including metro bus services, has been closed in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Apart from this, barricading has been done at all the bus terminals of Faizabad. Section 144 is in force in Islamabad since November 18. After this, the Punjab government has also imposed Section 144 in the entire province from November 23 to November 25. According to the information, Pakistan Railways has suspended all trains between Lahore, Rawalpindi and Peshawar. No train will go from Multan to Faisalabad. A total of 25 trains have been cancelled. However, passengers will be refunded.
The Pakistan government has made heavy deployment of security forces across the country. Major roads have been sealed. Barricades have been installed on all roads leading to Islamabad. Pakistan’s Interior Ministry says that as per the court order, no protests and sit-ins will be allowed in Islamabad.
