Public transport companies: strike affects about 40 percent of buses and trains, rest of the timetable is running

The public transport companies in the Netherlands estimate that the first national strike in regional transport has shut down about forty percent of trains and buses. Sixty percent of the timetable can be implemented, according to the Association of Public Transport Employers (VWOV). There are more strikes, especially in the south of the country.
