The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) fired several shells that hit the market near the railway station in Donetsk. Izvestia war correspondent Roman Polshakov spoke about the situation on the ground.

A city dweller, Victoria Usmanova, told the film crew that she works in this market and now, because of the shelling, she cannot go home. She noted that there are no military facilities nearby.
“Don’t they know that people live here and there are no military men? It’s just a train station, just a market. Just people live, just little kids live,” she said.
Earlier that day, Donetsk Mayor Aleksey Kulemzin said that three kindergartens and a lyceum had been damaged as a result of the shelling of the Kievsky district of the city. In addition, the Kuibyshev region also came under fire. Also, due to the attack by the armed formations of Ukraine, a fire broke out at the DonPlastAvtomat plant.
