Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has expressed hope that the gangster culture will disappear soon. It has been reported that Goldie Brab, the mobster who masterminded the murder of Punjabi rapper Sidhu Mooswala, has been arrested in the US. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has confirmed this.
In this regard, he attended a press conference in Ahmedabad, Gujarat state today. Then he said, “The arrest of Goldie Brar is true information. As the chief minister of the state, I confirm it. Gangster culture will end in Punjab. People like them are hiding abroad. So formally everything had to be done by seeking the help of foreign police department.
Recently we requested Interpol’s help through the Ministry of Home Affairs. They issued a red corner notice against Goldie Brar. Now Goldie Brar has been arrested in the US. However, we hope that he will be deported to India as soon as possible in accordance with the law.”
Interpol, the international police force, issues a Red Corner Notice to a person and the police of 194 member countries can arrest that person within their territory. Earlier, it was reported that Rowdy Chatinderjit Singh from Canada, the main accused in the case of singer Sidhu Mooswala’s murder, has been arrested in California in the United States.
Goldie takes responsibility for the murder: Sidhu Mooswala, a rapper from Musa village, Mansa district of Punjab, was shot dead by unknown persons on May 29. Canadian rowdy Goldie Brar claimed responsibility for the murder. Goldie Praar’s close friend Lawrence was also implicated in the murder, the investigation revealed.
Goldie Brar, Lawrence has been linked with various terrorist organizations and their groups have been included in the list of terrorist organizations. Considering the importance of the case, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) is investigating the case of singer Sidhu Mooswala’s murder. In this case, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has confirmed that rowdy Goldi Brar has been arrested in America. He is currently camping in Ahmedabad for the Gujarat election campaign.
