Pyramids defeated its guest Al-Ahly 3-0, on Sunday, in a postponed match from the 28th round of the Egyptian Football League.
Pyramids eliminated Al-Ahly’s hopes of winning the title without defeat, after inflicting its first loss this season, raising its score to 73 points in second place.
On the other hand, Al-Ahly’s balance, which won the title several rounds ago, froze at 80 points in first place.
Pyramids advanced in the 39th minute with a reverse goal scored by Mohamed Abdel Moneim, the Al-Ahly player, by mistake, before Fakhri Lakai added the second goal in the 77th minute.
