Doha: It has been decided to resume flights between Qatar and Bahrain. Based on the reconciliation talks between the two countries, it has been decided to resume the flight services which have been suspended for years from May 25. The services were stopped after Saudi-led Arab countries including Bahrain announced sanctions against Qatar. Although the embargo was lifted and all other Arab countries resumed flights, flights between Bahrain and Qatar had not.

Following the earlier announcement about the resumption of flight services, Qatar Airways has opened bookings for direct flights to neighboring Bahrain. From Thursday, May 25, the service will operate from Doha to Bahrain at 8 pm daily.
The airline’s website also allows booking of the return flight (QR 1109) from Bahrain to Qatar on the same day, with the flight departing at 10.20 pm and landing in Doha at 11.15 pm. Meanwhile, Gulf Air from Bahrain has also started booking flight tickets to Qatar. One service per day has been announced in the first phase. The rate is from 121 Bahraini Dinar.
