Qatar will prepare a system to bring those who have reached the Salwa border from Saudi Arabia to the metro station

Doha: Qatar will prepare a system to bring football fans from Saudi Arabia to Doha metro stations from there to the Salwa border by road to watch the FIFA World Cup matches. FIFA World Cup Qatar CEO Nasser Al Qatar said that they are planning to start a shuttle bus service from here to the metro stations. Travel from metro stations to stadiums where matches are held is easy. He stated this in an interview given to Qatar News Agency.

Apart from this, he informed that direct bus services from Saudi cities to Doha Metro Stations via Salwa are under consideration and will be officially announced later. Shuttle flights for passengers from other GCC countries are also under consideration. The steps related to this are in progress under the leadership of Qatar Airways in collaboration with other airlines. Al-Qatar informed that the announcement related to this will be made soon.

In the 12 years since Qatar was given the go-ahead to host the World Cup, the country has seen major changes. Especially in terms of infrastructure development including sports facilities. He said that people who have visited Qatar before will see amazing changes when they come to Qatar. He also informed that Qatar will present a unique World Cup experience.

Yesterday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia announced that 60-day visa to Saudi Arabia will be granted to the holders of Haya Card, the fan ID of the Qatar World Cup. The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that they will be granted a 60-day visa to enable them to visit Saudi tourism centers and stay in the country. Haya card holders can enter the country on a 60-day entry visa from 10 days prior to the start of the World Cup tournament matches.

Visa application should be made online through the Unified National Platform for Visa Granting. Those entering the country on this visa are allowed to stay in the country for up to 60 days from the date of initial entry. You can travel in and out of the country as many times as you like within a 60-day period. There is no requirement for them to enter Qatar before coming to Saudi Arabia. Medical insurance is required before entering Saudi Arabia.
