The price has gone up by 19 per cent.

The Egyptian Quboos was charged three dirhams. But now the price of the Egyptian Quboos has risen to three and a half dirhams. In addition, the price of Arabic has also gone up. A packet of Arabic bread cost 4.05 dirhams. But the new price is 5.05 dirhams. According to Manorama, retailers have reported a growth of 25 per cent.

Quboos is a delicacy eaten by expatriates in the Gulf, regardless of language. Consumers are demanding that action be taken against companies that raise prices. Quboos was a dish that had a small peso in the Gulf. Samuna bread was sold for 3.95 riyals. It has now raised the price to 4.95. This means that the price is higher than what was originally sold. The price of Afghan bread, which was given for a dirham, also went up. The price of Afghan bread rose to 1.35 dirhams. The price of protein bread has gone up from 6.25 dirhams to 8.25 dirhams.
