The competition was held under the auspices of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award Committee. Ayesha, a native of Punur Mangad, Kozhikode, shocked everyone in the competition. Competitors from 60 countries like Egypt, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Syria, UAE, Djibouti are participating in the 7-day competition. Ayesha covered the hearts of the audience in a section of the competition held yesterday. Ayesha is the daughter of Asma, daughter of State Haj Committee Chairman C. Muhammad Faizi. Ayesha memorized Quran during COVID-19. In 2021 Markus memorized the entire Quran under the guidance of Qariy Hanif Sakhafi, Principal of Quran Academy. In 2022, he obtained a memorization certificate from Cairo, Egypt. After returning to the country, along with his school studies, he did continuous training in Quran recitation. Later participated in many Quran maintenance program. The eleven-year-old is also the daughter of Grand Mufti of India Kanthapuram Abubakar Musalyar’s granddaughter.
