Actress Latifa Waft put an end to the controversy over her escape from Morocco due to her involvement in the scandal of what became known as the “Escobar of the Desert,” denying in her own way all the news circulating about the subject.
Raafat responded to the rumors that affected her recently, regarding her fleeing the homeland as a result Her involvement in the aforementioned case, as she posted a picture on her personal Instagram account with her mother, commenting on it, saying: “If someone says that Latifa has fled outside the homeland, it is true, Latifa is a fugitive, but her mother’s embrace, her home, and her country, among her family, are mine to force her.”
Raafat had appeared in a video weeks ago, in which she responded to the uproar that followed her regarding her relationship with her ex-husband, the Financial Baron, highlighting that the period she spent with the latter did not exceed 5 months, after which she decided to separate from him, and that she was not aware of the criminal acts that he had committed. He did so, adding that she got to know him within 15 days and then he proposed to her for her hand in marriage.
Raafat highlighted that the reason for her recent travel to the French capital, Paris, was to spend a short vacation with her daughter and husband, denying that she fled Morocco because of the “Escobar of the Desert” case, saying: “The law exists in the country.”
