For the past two years, Baarsma has led the sustainable initiative Rabo Carbon Bank. The Rabobank business unit is engaged in buying and selling CO2 certificates.
Baarsma herself writes about her departure: “Because my own learning curve is leveling off after these two years and becoming less steep, it is time for me for a new challenge.”
She will leave on March 1. What Baarsma will do is unknown.
