His son Samit Dravid has been included in the Indian Under-19 team for the ODI series and 4-day match against Australia. All-rounder Samit Dravid has got a place in the Indian Under-19 team for the first time.
He will be seen playing a multi-format domestic series against Australia in September and October. Uttar Pradesh’s middle-order batsman Mohammad Aman has been made the captain of the 50 over team (Under-19 team), while Madhya Pradesh’s Soham Patwardhan will be the captain of the four-day matches. Let us tell you that Rahul Dravid’s son Samit Dravid is currently a part of Karnataka’s Maharaj T20 Trophy Mysore Warriors team. Samit Dravid has scored 82 runs this season at a strike rate of 114.
However, he did not get a chance to show his medium pace bowling. Now Mysore Warriors have to play the semi-final match. India Under-19 team will play three 50 over matches against Australia in Puducherry on 21, 23 and 26 September. After this, the team will leave for Chennai for two four-day matches, where the matches will start on 30 September and 7 October.
