Jammu: On February 14, 2019, a car bomb attack was carried out targeting CRPF personnel who were traveling in a vehicle on the Jammu-Srinagar highway in Pulwama area. 40 CRPF personnel were killed.
Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi reached Pulwama area yesterday, who is on a Bharat Unity Walk. He then paid tribute to the CRPF soldiers by placing flowers at the place where they died.
Senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh recently said, “The central government is responsible for the Pulwama attack. So far no report has been filed in the National Assembly on the Pulwama attack. “Is there any proof that the Indian Air Force attacked Pakistan’s Balakot?” he asked.
This idea caused controversy. Congress said, “It is his personal opinion and not the opinion of the party”. In this context, Rahul Gandhi’s tribute to the soldiers who lost their lives in Pulwama has gained importance.
