New Delhi: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi started the India Unity Yatra at Kanyakumari on September 7. His pilgrimage was 2,800 km. After crossing the distance, it ended temporarily in Delhi on December 24. In this case, after 9 days on January 3, the Pada Yatra starts again and enters UP via Ghaziabad near Delhi.
The Congress has chosen Northeast Delhi’s Yamuna Bazaar to resume the pilgrimage. This is where the religious riots that started with the Citizenship Amendment Act protest in February 2020 lasted for about a week.
