Bandlaguda, Pocharam Rajiv conducted a lucky draw in the form of a lottery as huge applications were received to buy home flats. The draw for Pocharam flats was sweet on Monday. This lucky draw was completely reminiscent of election counting. The lucky draw held at the Ambedkar Open University was carried out with full transparency without any room for manipulation. The whole affair was broadcast live along with video recording.
The man who won two houses in the lottery in this order was denied a second home. The affair came to a head with the same Aadhaar number. Special CS, HMDA Commissioner Arvind Kumar said that special counters are being set up on the premises for plumbing and electrical work in the home flats. He said the flat would be handed over after all the money was paid and the occupants of the flat could do the electrical and plumbing work if they paid ten per cent.

Officials will allot flats on Tuesday by lottery to those who have applied for Bandlaguda Rajiv home flats. 33,161 applications were received for the purchase of 2,246 flats in Bandlaguda. The lottery process will start at 9 am at Jubilee Hills Ambedkar Varsity. It will also be streamed live on Facebook and YouTube. The lottery will be held today at Bandlaguda 1, 2BHK and on Wednesday at Bandlaguda 3BHK. However, the entire process is being recorded by HMDA officials.
