Rajiv Swagruha Flats Applications | Hyderabad: There has been a good response to Rajiv’s home flats for sale in Bandlaguda and Pocharam in the state capital Hyderabad. Applications close yesterday (Tuesday). As many as 39,082 applications were received till 5 pm on Tuesday, officials said. Up to 40,000 applications were received before the deadline. In total, more than 4,000 applications were received on the last day.
2,246 flats were put up for auction in Bandlaguda and 1,470 in Pocharam. 29,000 applications were received for flats in Bandlaguda, officials said. With the short distance from Nagole Metro and the availability of single, double, triple and triple deluxe flats at very low prices as compared to market rates, buyers are opting for Bandlaguda. A lottery will be held on the 22nd of this month for the allotment of these flats.

Officials now estimate that the government will get Rs 900 crore from the sale of these flats. Rs 3.5 crore has reached the state exchequer in the form of applications. The price was fixed at Rs 3,000 and Rs 2,750 per square foot. Rajiv home prices are very low compared to the market rate. With single-bedroom flats coming in at Rs 18 lakh, double-bedroom flats at Rs 35 lakh and triple-bedroom flats at less than Rs 50 lakh, the response has been overwhelming.
