Popular standup comedian Raju Srivastava (58) passed away. He is suffering from illness and is being treated at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi. Unable to recover, he breathed his last on Wednesday. On August 10, he suffered a heart attack while exercising at the gym. Since then he is being treated in the hospital. Recently doctors said that Srivastava’s health is getting a little better. Today, his condition worsened and he died. His fans were in mourning.
Raju Srivastava was born on 25th December 1963 in Kanpur. Being a mimicry artist from childhood, the desire to become a comedian was strong in him. He started his career as a standup comedian and gained a huge fan following with the Great India Laughter Challenge. After that he gained popularity with shows like Ka Maha Mukabala, Comedy Circus, Comedy Nights with Kapil etc. His specialty is imitating the voice of politicians. He also acted in films like Maine Pyaar Kiya, Baazigar, Bombay to Goa. He entertained the fans by participating as a contestant in Bigg Boss season-3.
