Thota Chandrasekhar explained that KCR has already opposed the decision of privatization of Visakhapatnam steel plant several times and criticized the central government in several public meetings. Recently Telangana IT Minister KTR also reminded that he had written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi opposing the privatization of Visakhapatnam steel plant. It has been revealed that the struggle will continue until the central government reverses its decision regarding the privatization of the Visakhapatnam steel industry.
Further, Thota Chandrasekhar, who visited the Godavari districts on Sunday, revealed that leaders and workers from the joint Godavari districts are going to join his party on a large scale soon. It has been revealed that BRS considers the Polavaram project as a serious issue.
On the other hand, Thota Chandrasekhar criticized that neither Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy nor former CM Chandrababu Naidu did anything for special status for the state. He said that even though CM Jagan was friendly with PM Modi, he could not achieve special status for the state. BRS will be an alternative party in AP. Josyam said that BRS is going to show its effect in Godavari districts as well as across Andhra Pradesh. It was concluded that BRS is going to exist irrespective of caste and religion, not only with the votes of the Kapula.
