The BJP government led by Jai Ram Thakur has completed 4 years in office in Himachal Pradesh. The inauguration ceremony for 287 investment projects worth Rs 28,197 crore in the state was held yesterday in Mandi, the home district of Chief Minister Jairam Thakur. Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched new projects:
The hydropower projects currently underway in Himachal are part of a climate-friendly New India. The project is also aimed at protecting the environment. Our country’s efforts to protect the environment while building infrastructure for development are globally recognized.
India has set a target in 2016 to generate 40 per cent of its electricity from non-fossil energy sources by 2030. But we reached this goal in November this year. Every Indian can be proud of this.
The Himachal Pradesh government led by Jairam Thakur has completed 4 years. This government during its tenure fought against the corona virus Pandemic and saw to it that the development of the state did not stop. In the state in 4 years Rapid growth Has occurred. Himachal Pradesh is one of the most important pharmaceutical hubs in the country.
Our government has announced that the corona vaccine will be given to those aged 15-18 from January 3. It has also been announced that the booster vaccine will be given to medical staff and the elderly from January 10. I hope Himachal Pradesh will be at the forefront of implementing these projects.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also laid the foundation stone for the Rs 6,700 crore Renukaji Dam project along with various development projects. The water supply to Delhi will increase significantly due to this dam.
The Luhri Level 1 Hydroelectric Project, the Daulasit Hydroelectric Project, and the Savra-Hot Hydroelectric Project were also launched at the event. The projects, valued at Rs 11,281 crore, are aimed at exploiting the potential for hydropower generation in the region.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the exhibition which was earlier organized on behalf of various departments.
