Emirati driver Rashid Al Dhaheri will participate in regional Formula 3 competitions for the first time next January, after his brilliance in Formula 4 competitions the past two days, as part of the Formula 4 Etihad Airways Grand Prix, at Yas Marina Circuit.
Rashid Al Dhaheri ended his Formula 4 career at the top of the competition, 27 points behind his closest competitor.
Al Dhaheri will not participate in the final round of the Formula Cup for single-seater cars at Yas Circuit on December 13 and 14, as the Prema team car will be handed over to another driver, so that he can prepare for the next challenge.
Al Dhaheri expressed his happiness with the achievement he achieved that contributed to his qualification to compete in Formula 3 competitions, thanking everyone who supported him since the beginning of his car racing career through karting races.
Al Dhaheri has completed two years of participation in Formula 4 races and the European Formula 4 series, and will remain with his current team, Prema, but in a Formula 3 car.
