The Football Association delegation is participating in the 33rd AFC General Assembly meeting, which is scheduled to be held today in the Bahraini capital, Manama, with the participation of all member national federations.
The delegation of the Football Association is headed by Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, President of the Federation, and accompanied by Abdullah Nasser Al Junaibi, First Vice President of the Federation, President of the UAE Professional League, candidate for membership in the Executive Office of the AFC, and Mohammed Abdullah Hazam Al Dhaheri, Secretary General of the Federation.
The agenda of the meeting includes the recommendation of Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, President of the Asian Confederation, for a third term in the presidency of the Confederation, which extends until 2027, in addition to electing members of the Executive Office of the Asian Confederation and representatives of the Asian continent in the FIFA Council for the next electoral cycle.
