‘Rayalaseema roar’ on Konda Reddy Bastion in Kurnool.. Huge meeting in support of decentralization!

The ‘Rayalaseema Garjana’, which was undertaken in support of the decentralization of administration, started with a bang at the historic Konda Reddy Fort in Kurnool. On this occasion, a video of ‘Roar of Rayalaseema’ was shown on Konda Reddy Fort. People’s representatives of YSR Congress Party from Kurnool District participated in this program.

Earlier, the state finance minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy told the media that in support of administrative decentralization, a huge rally is being organized in Kurnool on the 5th of this month under the name of Rayalaseema Garjana. It has been revealed that Rayalaseema JAC, business unions, job unions and student youth unions will participate in this rally.

He said that Rayalaseema is very backward and geographically the climate is not suitable for this region. He reminded that there is a situation of not knowing when the rains will come. Hence, in 1937, the Sribhag Agreement was signed in the presence of elders. It was mentioned in the agreement that the capital or high court should be established in the backward Rayalaseema region. Also, an agreement has been reached to use the black water for 10 years and extend it if necessary.
