The Readovka website was removed from the register of prohibited information after the removal of illegal materials. This was announced on September 3 at Roskomnadzor (RKN).
“The administration of the Readovka.ru resource has removed illegal materials, and Roskomnadzor has been notified of this. After the inspection, the department excluded the publication’s website from the Unified Register of Prohibited Information, ”the press service told TASS.
Earlier, on August 30, RKN confirmed that it had entered the Readovka website into the register of prohibited information in Russia. The decision to block it became an interim measure at the suit of State Duma deputy Dmitry Sablin, who filed a lawsuit against Readovka because of the article that part of the shares of the Lenin State Farm near Moscow had come under his control. Sablin called the facts stated in it unreliable.
On August 4, RKN blocked the DeviantArt online service for ignoring legal requirements. It was noted that since 2019, the department has sent 145 requests to the administration of the resource about the need to remove prohibited materials containing child pornography, suicidal and pro-narcotic content posted on the website.
Later, DeviantArt removed all illegal materials, in respect of which the claims were previously sent, and informed Roskomnadzor about this. The check carried out by the specialists of the department confirmed the removal of the prohibited information in full, then the blocking from the resource was removed.
