The National Teams and Technical Affairs Committee of the UAE Football Association decided, during its meeting today, Wednesday, headed by Board Member Humaid Al Tayer, to submit a recommendation to the Board of Directors of the Football Association for the continuation of the Dutch first national team coach Marvik until the end of his contract, coinciding with the conclusion of the World Cup qualifiers in March 2022 with Providing all support to the national team during the rest of its campaign in the World Cup qualifiers.
The committee decided to thank both the former supervisor of the team, Muhammad Obaid Hammad, and the team’s administrator, Khaled Al-Kaabi, and assigning the head of the committee and member of the committee, Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al-Taniji, to supervise the team during the coming period.
The committee also decided to dispense with the national team doctor, Artukal Aranik, and to search for a new doctor to work with the team.
