Record number of complaints and questions about discrimination in 2021

Last year, the Netherlands Institute for Human Rights received a record number of complaints and questions about unequal treatment: no fewer than 5286. Almost half of these can also be seen as discrimination according to the law. Most of these were related to a disability or chronic illness, as had been the case for the past five years.
