The police have made elaborate security arrangements at the airport to prevent any untoward incident. Besides, bomb squad and dog squad conducted checks on the main road of the airport. Passengers are also required to carry all identity cards with them till January 31. In this order, the security officials and the police kept a special vigil on the vehicles coming to the airport. Suspicious vehicles are being checked.
