New Delhi: Thousands of refugees from Myanmar, Bangladesh are gathering in Mizoram state of India. Currently, more than a thousand Bangladeshi refugees are camped along the border seeking refuge in Mizoram. They are suffering without food and drinking water.
The North-Eastern states of India are inhabited by the Kuki-Sin tribe. Mizoram and Manipur states have a majority population of this tribe. India’s neighboring countries Bangladesh and Myanmar also have a significant population of the same tribe.
