National voter Walid Rekragui, coach of the Moroccan national football team, said today, Thursday, that he will not close the door to Lamine Yamal, the Spanish star of Barcelona.
Rekragui confirmed, during a press conference held at the Mohammed VI Football Complex, that he personally worked on this file, and he still hopes to include it in the future.
The Lions coach added that he understands Lamine Yamal’s position, considering that he is 16 years old, and it is difficult for him to make choices at this age.
And the same spokesman highlighted that Lamine Yamal’s position applies to Ibrahim Diaz, who has not yet decided which team he will represent.
National voter Walid Regragui had announced the list of the first Moroccan national football team, in preparation for facing Liberia in the qualifiers for the African Nations Cup finals this month, as well as the friendly confrontation against Burkina Faso.
