In the consumer brand business, Reliance has a strong growth trajectory. All categories are very good. The company is now leveraging capabilities, expanding its distribution network and introducing new products. The company has launched several new products this quarter, said Dinesh Taluja, CFO of Reliance Retail. The company introduced the previously acquired Campa Cola brand during the quarter. According to the CFO, the company has partnered with Maliban, which launched Raskic brand in biscuits and beverages and Toffeeman in candy brand.
The company is focusing on expanding its distribution network across various regions along with its product offering in the consumer brand business. As part of its FMCG expansion, Reliance Retail has acquired several brands including Sosyo, Lotus Chocolate and Campa Cola. Earlier, it launched consumer-packaged goods brand Independence in December. Under this brand, the company offers a wide range of products across multiple categories including staples, processed foods and other daily essentials.

The products of RCPL, the FMCG division and wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance Retail Ventures Limited (RRVL), are available only in select markets. Meanwhile, Reliance Retail on Friday reported a 12.9 percent rise in net profit to Rs 2,415 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2023. The company’s operating income rose 21.09 percent to Rs 61,559 crore in the fourth quarter of this fiscal.
