New Delhi.Milk prices were increasing for a long time, but now consumers have got some relief. Amul, the country’s largest milk brand Amul, has reduced the prices of Amul Milk. Amul has cut the price of three milk products by Rs 1 per liter. According to this, the prices of Amul Gold, Fresh and Tea Special have come down.
This deduction has come into effect from today i.e. 24 January. Jayen Mehta, managing director of Gujarat co-operative milk marketing federation, said that Amul Milk has reduced the price of milk by 1 rupee in Amul Milk, Amul Gold, Amul Ten and Amul Tea Special 1 kg. The Amul brand is owned by the Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation.
Amul Milk of Amul Gold used to come to Rs 66 earlier. Now it will be available for 65 rupees. Similarly, the price of Amul Tea Special Milk and Amul fresh milk has also been cut by Rs 1-1 per liter. Amul Tea Special Milk will now get Rs 61 instead of 62. At the same time, the rate of Amul fresh milk was Rs 54 per liter, which has been reduced to Rs 53.

Amul Dairy increased the price of milk in June last year. He had increased the rate by two rupees per liter. After this increase, the price of 500 mL of Amul Gold increased from Rs 32 to Rs 33. Similarly, the price of Amul fresh 500 mL increased from 26 to 27 rupees and the price of Amul Shakti 500 mL increased from Rs 29 to Rs 30. This new rate came into effect on 3 June 2024.
